I’ve always been moved by my love for art since a young age, and it’s a dream to be able to work in creative fields as an adult. Design, however, has always had an extra element of challenge to it. Despite involving creativity, design shouldn’t just express a feeling but serve a purpose, solve a problem. It’s a demanding practice, but I remain inspired by the knowledge that design is all around us; it shapes the world we live in. It’s the result of specific solutions to puzzles and problems built up over hundreds and thousands of years. Whether it’s buildings, books, clothes, or print, design tells the story of us and the choices humanity has made to push the boundaries of what was possible, and it’s an honor to be able to participate in that act. I’ve always felt that anything I design is an act of cooperation with all those who came before me, inspired from what they’ve learned and solved. I had the privilege of graduating from McMurry University with a Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia & Graphic Design. When I’m not designing, I like to read and paint, and when I can herd my wayward friends together, go skating.
Thank you for your time!
