I designed a sticker sheet for incoming freshman to receive once accepted. I chose maroon as the main theme of the stickers as it was the most distinctive of the school’s colors, and I wanted them to be easily recognizable wherever they were used. For that same reason I utilized the school’s mascot, Wally the War Hawk as a reoccurring design. I also thought that an animal sticker would be more preferable to students than words, buildings, or other basic shapes.

As the university slowly reopened public spaces following the height of the pandemic, it was necessary to have safety reminders posted around the campus grounds. Making sure to present the usual motifs of the university, I illustrated an image of the university’s mascot, Wally the War Hawk, in order to make the poster stand out.
